Brief presentation

Anne Mette Morcke graduated from Aarhus University Medical School in 1999 and did her internship in a Danish regional hospital and general practice. In 2003 she defended her PhD on Learning Objectives and the Development of the Undergraduate Medical Core Curriculum. After an excursion to anesthesiology, she finally decided to follow her passion about curriculum development and dedicated her career to fulltime medical education research. Since 2007 she worked as an awarded associate professor in medical education at Aarhus University. From 2010 to 2015 she was also the director of the undergraduate medical program and spearheaded the implementation of a major reform focusing on an innovative shift towards patient-centered learning. Currently she is head of Copenhagen Academy for Medical Education and Simulation (CAMES) at Rigshospitalet.
