Main research areas
Research focus is in the area of molecular and cellular tumor immunology which includes both basic research and development of novel molecular immunotherapeutic strategies for treatment of cancer.
Current research
Develop isolation and expansion methods for tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte (TIL) and to produce large-scale GMP-grade TIL products for adoptive cell therapy (ACT) clinical trials for melanoma and other solid tumors.
Development and exploitation of novel costimulatory chimeric antigen receptors (CARs) to be used ACT studies.
