Aims and objectives

The aim of the Intersectoral Research Unit for Health Services is to qualify and strengthen integrated care in the Capital Region of Denmark through supporting and carrying out practice-oriented research. 

 

 

Focus areas

Our focus areas:

  • Administration of the fund "Tværspuljen" which provides financial support for research projects aiming at improving the integrated care in the Capital Region of Denmark
  • Health services research focusing on selected intersectoral topics
  • Qualifying research project proposals
  • Organising and hosting workshops and conferences in regard to integrated care
  • Sharing knowledge

Disciplines, methods and tools

The scientific methods of the unit’s research are mainly aimed at carrying out multidisciplinary investigation into integrated care throughout the health services. The scientific tools therefore focus on providing a solid basis for cross-scientific health services research.

In this respect the researchers of the unit are competent in using relevant qualitative and quantitative methods in carrying out research and when counseling other researchers.
