Nordsjællands Hospital

Organisation profile

Our vision

Our vision is to bring research and clinics closer together across professions, departments and medical specialties. Our aim is to produce internationally recognised research within our four strategic areas. We also strive to become an even more attractive research collaborator and an inspiring research institution that draws and retains outstanding staff dedicated to research.

Patient-centred, our research activities are directed at general medical conditions, the hospital particularly contributing in its capacity as a regional and acute-care hospital in the Capital Region of Denmark.

We endeavour to achieve high-quality clinical work via evidence-based treatment combined with continued development of best clinical practice through research. Our strong, dynamic research environments contribute to this goal, performing research initiated by doctors, nurses and physical therapists and directly translating research results into applied clinical practice.
