Organisation profile

Department of Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy

The research and research programs always include investigating aspects of or related to rehabilitation. We aim to conduct state-of-the-art clinical research that ultimately will have an impact on the daily clinical care of patients. We do this by contributing to the body of evidence using different methodological approaches.

Therefore, the research group conducts studies using a wide variety of studies designs in order to inform future studies. We aim to conduct clinical research, preferably by conducting clinical trials in the real-world of routine clinical practice. Hence, a very high percentage of the studies that are conducted within the group are conducted with interdisciplinary collaborating partners within Copenhagen University Hospital, Rigshospitalet, nationally, or internationally.
