Aims and objectives

Our aims :

Ongoing ph.d. projects for all disease groups in haematology.

Clinical protocols for all major diseases in haematology both at diagnosis and relapse

Establishing clinical research cooperation with RH and Roskilde Hospital

Focus areas

Focus is on all major haematological diseases both malignant and benign regarding improvement of diagnosis and treatment - aiming at a more targeted treatment.

Gaining knowledge about the genetics and molecular backgrounds for the diseases.

Disciplines, methods and tools

The Clinical Research Unit handles the clinical research projects in cooperation with investigators and pharmaceutical companies as well as national, Nordic and international study groups.

The lab. is well equipped for basic research with sections for flow cytometry, growing cells and molecular biology.

One part of the lab. is dedicated diagnosis of haemoglobinopaties and another part of the lab. is reserved for Center for Cancer Immune Therapy
