Aims and objectives
The Department of Day Case Surgery at Hvidovre Hospital is one of the largest dedicated centers for ambulatory surgery in Denmark. We have approximately 6500 elective procedures per year, within the fields of general surgery, orthopedics, and gynecology. Our focus is on delivering safe and high-quality treatments to patients by employing principles of fast-track surgery.

Disciplines, methods and tools
We collaborate with surgical and medical departments in pro- and retrospective descriptive studies, and intervention studies. We use quantitative and qualitative study designs.
