Aims and objectives

The Department of Neurology at Rigshospitalet, University of Copenhagen, offers comprehensive patient care, teaching and neuroscience research. Our translational and clinical research programme are dedicated to the understanding, prevention and treatment of diseases of the nervous system.

Focus areas

Nine subspecialty research units cover a wide range of neurological disorders and the entire field of translational and clinical neuroscience from molecular genetics to behavioural neuroscience, and from clinical genetics to neuroimaging, intervention studies and neuroepidemiology. The focus areas of our research groups are:
