Abstract

In recent years, a rise in sexually transmitted infections (STIs) has been observed across sex, age and sexual orientation, which underscores the necessity of focusing on diagnosis and treatment across demographics and sexuality. This review provides an overview of common STIs in Denmark: chlamydia, gonorrhoea, Mycoplasma genitalium, genital herpes, genital warts (condyloma), and syphilis, and it provides insights into their epidemiology and management.
