N2 - Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) is a chronic inflammatory skin disorder involving primarily the intertriginous skin of the axillary, inguinal, genital, and perianal areas of the body. It is characterized by recurrent inflamed nodules and abscesses, resulting in fistulae, fibrosis, and scarring. We present a case of HS refractory to local and systemic antibiotic therapy as well as anti-TNF and anti-IL12/23 that was successfully treated with secukinumab (anti-IL17A).
