N2 - 18F-fluoro-deoxyglucose positron emission tomography (PET)/computed tomography (CT) scans play an important role in the management of lymphoma patients. They are critical to accurately stage disease and assess its response to therapy. In addition, PET/CT scans enable precise target delineation for radiation therapy planning. In this review, we describe the use of PET/CT scans in lymphoma, with a focus on their role in staging disease, assessing response to therapy, predicting prognosis, and planning RT.
