1 early detection is extremely important. Liver biopsy is considered gold standard for the diagnosis of liver fibrosis. However, this invasive procedure is only suitable for a selected group of patients because of the risk of serious complications. We aimed to estimate the concordance between vibration-controlled transient elastography (VCTE) and simple noninvasive liver fibrosis scores-Fibrosis-4 index (FIB4), aspartate aminotransferase-to-platelet ratio index (APRI), and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease fibrosis score (NFS)-in PLWH without viral hepatitis.
