Multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children (MIS-C) is a novel disease that is associated with the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2)1 . Until now, only one study has attempted to estimate the incidence of MIS-C among SARS-CoV-2 infected children and adolescents2 . This study from the New York State has reported an incidence of MIS-C of 2 per 100,000 persons younger than 21 years of age between 1 March 1 and 10 May 2020.
