Epidemiological analysis of all aspects of dual diagnosis (co-occurring mental health problems and substance abuse). This includes analysis of protective and risk factors, treatment, survival, as well as effects on social prognosis.

I currently work on three projects:

1. A register based study of the relationship between dual diagnosis and mechanical restraint

2. A cohort and register based study of protective and risk factors for dual diagnosis during the life course as well as for the prognosis for dual diagnosis patients.

3. In cooperation with department M a study of the recovery process for patients with dual diagnosis.
