Primære forskningsområder
My research has mostly been focused on patient’s and their families perspectives on life with heart disease. I have worked in a multi-disciplinary team on the CopenHeart project. Here we designed and tested rehabilitation for patients with heart disease. I have carried out systematic Cochrane reviews, nationwide surveys, complex interventional studies, and qualitative research. I have experience with both qualitative, quantitative and Mixed Methods research.
Aktuel forskning
I’m working on several projects in multi-disciplinary teams with colleagues from Herlev and Gentofte University Hospital and University College Copenhagen all focusing on different aspects of life with heart disease, including improvement in treatment and quality of life. Currently, I'm investigating the effect of MediYoga on quality of sleep, blood pressure and quality of life among patients with hypertension.
