Sally is a physiologist with great interest in exercise science and musculoskeletal hip and groin problems in young active individuals. She has been affiliated with SORC-C since 2019, finishing her Master Thesis in Human Physiology from Department of Nutrition, Exercise & Sports (NEXS), University of Copenhagen (UCPH) in January 2021 under the supervision of Professor Per Hölmich. During her studies at UCPH, Sally spent 6 months at Griffith University, Gold Coast, Australia attending courses of the Exercise Science program.
As a former competitive dancer on elite level, Sally strives to improve awareness and treatment of hip and groin-related pain in young sports and physical active individuals. In February 2022 Sally became a board member of Dance Science Denmark, an association dedicated to improve knowledge and understanding of dance injuries, injury prevention and dance teaching.
