I have participated in several nationwide pharmacoepidemiological studies and have coordinated the substudies of one large scale randomised trial. The studies have for instance examined adherence, efficacy and sideeffect related to different antithrombotic medication among patients with cardiac diseases as atrial fibrillation and myocardial infarction.  

On going projects: 1. Description of antitheraphy following a bleeding and related risk of  MACE and recurrent bleeding. 2. Adherence in patientis with atrial fibrillation treated with NOAC.  3. Validation of the bleeding diagnose in the Danish Patient registry. 4. Examination of treatment witg Oral anticoagulation +/- aspirin in PCI treated patients with atrial fibrillation. A Nationwide study carryed out in collaboration with Aarhus University Hospital Skejby.

I have received  

1. an unresticted grant from Bayer for the study about adherence in NOAC patients (the company had no influence on analysis or writing of the manuscript).
