Expertise

Mikkel Fode is subspecialized in Andrology and lower urinary tract dysfunction. He is a fellow of both the European Board of Urology and the European Committee of Sexual Medicine and has won the Award of Excellence from the European Society for Sexual Medicine. He has held 20 positions in professional societies, and he is currently president of the European Society for Sexual Medicine, Associate editor for the European Journal of Urology and the chair of the Danish Andrology Group within the national urological association.

Mikkel Fode’s main clinical and research interests include male sexual dysfunction, male infertility, lower urinary tract dysfunction and prostate cancer. He has authored more than 200 publications on these topics and mentored numerous PhD-students and medical students.

In addition Mikkel Fode is involved in numerous non-randomized clinical studies, which are being conducted from the Department of Urology, Herlev and Gentofte Hospital.
