Forskningsområde

I have a strong interest in qualitative research with a focus on co-creation, especially within social health inequalities and multimorbidity among vulnerable individuals with type 2 diabetes. Currently, I am working on a realist evaluation of a large RCT study examining patients with type 2 diabetes and diverse ethnic backgrounds, while also contributing to data collection in the RCT study. Additionally, I have conducted qualitative analyses in a project where I mapped the need for education among healthcare professionals in municipal settings, particularly concerning elderlies with type 2 diabetes.

Steno Diabetes Center Copenhagen is a public hospital and research institution in the Capital Region of Denmark, which is partly funded by a grant from the Novo Nordisk Foundation. The funders had no role in any part of my scientific work. This includes 1) study design; 2) data collection, analysis, and interpretation; 3) preparation of studies or publications; and 4) submission decisions. I have not received any financial benefit from conducting my research.
