Aktuel forskning

My PostDoc is part of DynaHEALTH, a European Horizon 2020 funded action coordinated by the University of Oulu (Professor Marjo-Riitta Järvelin and Dr. Sylvain Sebert), focusing on uncovering the pathways acting through the life course that shape an individual's metabolic (i.e. glucose metabolism and adiposity) and psycho-social (i.e. cognitive function, stress) components of health.

The main purpose of my PostDoc research programme is to study the bi-directional relationship between psycho-socio-economic factors and adiposity and their combined effect throughout the life-course on diabetes and ageing outcomes. My work is performed using the data resources of the Copenhagen Infant Health Visitor Records, the Copenhagen Perinatal Cohort, the Copenhagen School Health Records Register and the Danish Conscription Database.
