I am investigating the population of patients referred to phase I trials. I have done a systematic review regarding the decision-making and perception of information when patients participate in a phase I trial as a literature platform for my PhD projects described below.

In my PhD, I am doing a registry study of patients referred to the Phase I Unit, Rigshospitalet, from 2005-2016. I am investigating socio-economic position and geography as a barrier for referral. Further, I am doing a prospective questionnaire survey on patients referred to the Phase I Unit and their closest relative. I am exploring psychological well-being in a longitudinal design and perceived information, expectations and regret.
