Occurrence, disease course and prognosis of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) in Denmark and Europe. Also, the influence of treatment strategies on the natural course of IBD.

Prediction of treatment response and outcomes of biological therapy in IBD patients based on the Danish IBD Biobank.

Development and implementation of eHealth interventions for monitoring and treatment of IBD patients.

Part time lecturer, Department of Biomedical Sciences, University of Copenhagen 2010-2017 in GI physiology (4th semester). Reviewer for the highest-ranking international journals within the field of gastroenterology (including Gastroenterology, Gut, American Journal of Gastroenterology, Clinical Gastroenterology & Hepatology). Editorial board member for Gut and Journal of Crohn’s and Colitis. Reviewer for DDW, UEG Week, ECCO Congress.
