Medical degree in 1984, worked full-time until 2003 with obstetrics, gynaecology, surgery, anaesthesia, paediatrics, neonatology. 1998 completed specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology and in 2003 became Head of Education at the Juliane Marie Centre, Rigshospitalet. In 2006 she obtained a master’s degree in Medical Education from the University of Dundee. In 2016 she defended a Doctoral dissertation/PhD from Maastricht University.
In 2000 Jette became responsible for the development, writing and implementation
of the first postgraduate training curriculum for a specialist training programme in obstetrics and gynaecology. She is currently responsible for specialist training in Eastern Denmark.
In 2002 she was responsible for the development, writing and implementation of a curriculum for a two-year MSc for nurses, midwives and physiotherapist at the University of Copenhagen and in 2015 she became head of the study board.
She has received several national and international awards for her contributions in education and research.
