Dr. Dea Siggaard Stenbæk is a clinical and research psychologist specialised in the field of affective cognitive neuroscience and crisis psychology.
Dr. Stenbæk's main lines of research are on the effects of pharmacologically induced neuroendocrine changes (i.e., gonadotropin, oxytocin, and psilocybin) and serotonergic biomarkers in relation to affective cognition and various psychological outcome measures (i.e., mood, stress, and affective symptomatology) in healthy volunteers. She has also established a line of clinical research focusing on pre- to post-treatment factors such as changes in brain metabolism, cognitive impairments, affective disturbances and traumatic stress in cancer and cardiac arrest patients.
Dr. Stenbæk is involved in the following research projects:
