Aktuel forskning

Developing, implementing and evaluating a multi component intervention with the aim to promote social equality in health before the child is born and in the child's first year. The intervention is cross sectional and targeting vulnerable pregnant women with social or psychological challenges and their families. The intervention consist of three main intervention components each aiming to improve the interaction between child and parents to improve the attachment and thereby give the child the best beginning in life. The first component consist of the detection of anxiety or depression among the vulnerable pregnant women and the onset of treatment, the second component target sharing information across sectors and the third component is an intervention to improve the parents' parent skills. The design is a RCT study with an intervention group receiving the extra components and a control group receiving care as usual. The intervention will take place on one hospital and in five municipalities.
