Adam is an orthopedic surgeon subspecializing in arthroscopic surgery and sports traumatology. He is doing his PhD parallel to his clinical work.
He has a special interest in sport-related injuries, ultrasonography and shoulder disorders, particularly subacromial impingement syndrome, which is the main topic of his PhD.
Adam has been the team doctor of the professionel football club Lyngby BK since 2016, and a board member of the Danish Association of Arthroscopy and Sports traumatology since 2018.
