Aims and objectives
The Research Unit at the Department of Palliative Medicine aims to improve the quality of life of patients and their carers in palliative care and oncology.
The Research Unit carries out research in palliative care and oncology including clinical trials, surveys of patients and carers, evaluation and improvement of quality of care and development and validation of questionnaires for patient and carers.
The unit also hosts the secretariats of the Danish Palliative Care Database and the DMCG-PAL.
