Clinical Research Topics:

• Epidemiological studies of occurrence, disease course, pattern recognition, and prognosis of inflammatory bowel disease. This is done mainly by inception cohort studies and using web-based databases.
• Patient reported outcomes (including health related quality of life, fatigue, work disability) in patients with inflammatory bowel disease
• eHealth, self-monitoring and web-based treatment using web-based applications in patients with chronic diseases including inflammatory bowel disease and irritable bowel syndrome
• Studies of biomarkers with a focus on fecal calprotectin in patients with intestinal diseases
