Our two main research areas;
- Optimising patient treatment while lowering risks and
- Patient centered care/personalised medicine.
We have more than 40 ongoing research projects and more than 40 scientific publications annually.
Focus areas
Our main focus is on:
- Reproductive Medicine with focus on quality and safety in ART and optimizing ovarian stimulation protocols
- Reproductive Epidemiology with national data on short and long term outcomes in children
- Foetal Medicine with focus on non-invasive prenatal diagnostic test and prediction of preeclampsia and intrauterine growth retardation.
- Obstetrics with focus on prevention of risk in pregnancy and labour
- Gynaecology ad reproductive endocrinology with focus on obesity and PCOS
- Qualitative research
Disciplines, methods and tools
Gyn/Obs Department is divided in four clinical units; gynaecology, obstetrics, fetal medicine and reproductive medicine. The methods we use are clincal trials incuding RCT's, descriptive studies, systematic reviews and meta-analysis, longitudinal cohort and registry studies, screen performance studies and Qualitative research.
